Staart's Journey: From the dream of making cool apps to solving Real-World problems

Despite an abundance of creative solutions for every construciton industry problem, many construction firms still don't use technology. This presents an interesting paradox: readily available tools aren't being adopted. Recognizing this gap, we embarked on a journey to develop user-friendly apps aimed at addressing the needs of construction companies. Initially, we fell into the trap and pursued a completely innovative software designed to stand apart. However, after developing a full prototype, we found no users. We revisited our initial thesis: why did we start? We shifted our focus to the fundamental operational challenges of the construction industry, beginning with Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and expense management ,..Voilà It got 15000 downloads. Our guiding principle is: can this tool be further simplified to encourage adoption by today's and future construction companies, despite the numerous options available? This principle continues to shape our product development. We leverage feedback to further simplify our apps, enhancing both usability and the value derived from operational insights. Our aim is to enable construction projects to minimize resource wastage, adhere to timelines, foster seamless communication, and provide readily accessible, cross-departmental data for informed decision-making. We believe that data-driven transparency is crucial for restoring confidence and improving operational efficiency in the construction industry. We extend our gratitude to our customers, colleagues, and investors who have supported our initial steps. Our software operates on a freemium model: use it freely, and only pay for continued or high-volume usage. We encourage feedback on how to further simplify our tools to better manage your projects. Our core philosophy, "Think simple, Think start," will continue to guide all of our future developments.
